Mindful Parents: Wellbeing Booster for Parents and Carers
Simply Mindful has specially designed this program for parents, carers and grandparents, in fact anyone who has children in their care. The course has an emphasis on practice and applying learned techniques at home.
Mindful Parents is not a parenting course, however it does give you greater skill at tuning into your children and responding more creatively to challenges in your home.
Over 6 weeks participants will learn:
– Mindfulness practices
– The science behind meditation
– Stress – what is it really?
– Insight writing
– Positive neuroplastic techniques for change
– Tuning into your children

Who is this for?
You are welcome, whether the children in your life are young or old, whether you are in a blended family, nuclear family or extended family. Whether you are a single parent or partnered, a grandparent or relative or friend, whether your family situation is stable, fluid or changing. If you’ve got children in your life, come!
Some stress is normal and healthy but for many parents, stress is a constant companion which can lead to ill health and impact negatively on quality of relationships and other parts of life. If you’d like to bring more of the best of yourself to your relationships with children, this is for you.
Suitable for beginning and experienced meditators.
No prior experience of mindfulness is necessary. Numbers are limited, so please register early.
