My daughter has the weirdest thing but she holds on to my bra strap when she goes to sleep or is really upset/ cranky I tried teddies, blankets, dolls etc but she never attached herself to anything else!
One of ny boys loves a bunny we got from Seed, he sucks on the ears (I have 3 the same) and the other just loves a plain muslin square. Again I have lots of spares!
Snuggle bear (bear head with blanker attached) from woollies and I’m making one for next bub (froggy rattle and just sewing a 43x43cm square of fabric round under his head)
Mine had a small square cushion in her cot that she picked up as a comforter around 7 months. Best thing is I made it, so with a metres material and some stuffing, I can whip up a new one in a matter of minutes.
My lil boy has a muslin wrap as his “blankie”. This way I can stock up on and wash regularly.
We have always had the deal that Blankie stays home to keep teddy warm.
My Dd was given a comforter that is a blanket with a giraffes head in the middle. The blanket has a few different textures on it. If i was to guesswork shop it came from i would guess Big W, Best and Less, Woolies or Target.
