Re: Life Cycle – 48 hour bike ride Lake Burley Griffin: 18-20 October
This is second year of the Canberra’s Lifecycle cycling event, which seeks to raise awareness and funds for the Leukaemia Foundation
in the ACT, and ultimately to achieve the goal of constructing and supporting the operation of a much-needed purpose-built respite care facility here in Canberra for Leukaemia patients undergoing treatment, and their carers.
We are endeavouring to build on the wonderful support that we received from the ACT community in the 2012 event.
I am currently reaching out to local Canberra organisations to request assistance in letting the Canberra community know about the event.
On behalf of the Committee, I would be very grateful if we may utilise your website or newsletter to promote Lifecycle.
If you are amenable to promoting the event, I would welcome an opportunity to discuss ways in which we can publicise your support.
FREE ENTERTAINMENT @ THE CARILLON – LIFE CYCLE HEAD QUARTERS
We have organised a great line up of free entertainment over the weekend.
Friday night: The Remnants
Saturday: Bands and DJs
Saturday night: Light the Night – Lantern Walk http://www.lightthenight.org.au/
Please find below, a general outline of the event and the official logo that we use for organisations’ internal newsletters, electronic noticeboards, flyers and the like.
I have also attached the electronic proofs of the printed promotional material that we use.
We can distribute printed copies of these also to strategic locations upon your advice.
As noted above, further information regarding Lifecycle is available at www.life-cycle.org.au
My sincere thanks for your consideration.
Please don’t hesitate to give me a call on 0449226839
, or contact me by return email to further discuss the event.
