This series of workshops will help children learn and identify colour, texture and sound as well as develop problem-solving skills through some group activities. We will learn about patterns in nature, as well as linking our ideas to recycling and finding creative ways to re-use common household items to make art. Children will develop their fine motor skills by using different tools and learning to make work that references and is based on observation. We’ll also take a world view and discuss how different cultures use and make art, wearable objects and jewellery.
