School and COVID worries…
Hi mums, Im interested to know if there are many parents who have stopped taking their children to school due to worries about covid? We have a 12 year old boy who was born with complications with his chest that would put him at a high level of danger if he were to contract the virus. Are there many parents having the same concerns and have decided to homeschool???  What would you do if your child was also in a higher risk category? School or homeschool for now?

29 weeks pregnant
Hi Mums, I’m 29 weeks pregnant and have had all bloods and ultrasounds done. I’ve also had 2 midwife appointments and am due for my third next week. This is my first baby and every time people ask me how far along I am, they can’t get over my lack of weight gain. I can see I’ve gained weight and my shape has definitely changed, but I’m starting to worry that I’m not as “big” as I should be. I can feel baby moving around and checks of the heartbeat have been good. I guess I’m just looking for some reassurance from other mums who also didn’t appear to have gained weight as “expected.” Advice please! Thank you.

5yr old with warts
Hello mums, My 5yr old has warts on his hands from when he was 2 yrs old. We are trying everything we can. Now he is going to preschool, where the teachers asked us to put the Band-Aids on them becoz they are contagious. Children wash their hands many times in day, especially now with covid. We provided some Band-Aids for the school to use when the old ones fall off. My problem is one of the teachers is picking something or the other everyday, asking us to use different kinds of band aids, teaching him how to throw the Band-Aids in the bin etc etc.

Painful neighbour’ advice needed…
Hello Canberra Mums, I’m in desperate need of advice. We are a family of 4 living in an apartment (because of poor financial conditions) One kid is 2yo other is 7. Now the problem is our neighbour, she told us once she has some psychological issues. She comes to our door complaining our tv volume is too high when the volume was just 8-10. We could hardly hear it! she kept coming until we had to move tv to my husband’s office room. Now It is so difficult for my husband to work along with a toddler on tv. Now after a few months, she is complaining that the kids are too noisy. Any advice?

‘Mother-in-law’ advice
My son is 18 months now and my mother in law is pressuring us to register him with schools already. Is this a thing? At what age should kids have their name on a school list here in Canberra? Eg Steiner School vs Public school vs other private once? Thanks so much for any insight.
